Malaysia My Second Home (mm2h)

Successful applicants will be granted a 10-year Social Visit Pass with Multiple Entry Visa and it is renewable for as long as they comply with the existing rules and regulations of the programme and laws of the coutnry.


It is open to citizens of countries recognised by Malaysia regardless of race, religion, gender or age.


This programme also allows participants to bring with them their spouse, unmarried childen below the age of 21 and parents above 60years old as dependants.

Terms & conditions upon application

  1. Financial Requirement:
    • Applicant below 50 years - Liquid assets of RM500,000 + Monthly offshore income of RM10,000
    • Applicant aged 50 years and above - Liquid assets of Rm350,000 + Monthly offshore income of RM10,000
  2. Submission of a Letter of Good Conduct
  3. Resume/CV
  4. Application Forms with a cover letter

Terms & conditions upon Approval

Successful applicant will be issued a Conditional Approval Letter where they are required to comply with the following requirements within a 6-month period:

  1. Open a Fixed Deposit Account in Malaysia.
    • Applicants aged 50years & above: RM150,000
    • Applicants below 50years: RM300,000
  2. Purchase a Health Insurance
  3. Pay the required visa fee
  4. Health or medical check-up
  5. *at any private hospital or registered clinic

benefits & incentives

House Purchase


Each participant may purchase any number of residential property in Malaysia, subject to the minimum price established for foreigners by different states (starts from RM1,000,000 per unit for most states).
May obtain loan margin of up to 70% from local banks.

Car Purchase


Each participant is allowed to import his/her personal car owned before joining MM2H programe OR purchase a locally-assembled car without the need to pay import duty, excise duty and sales tax.

Tax-Free Income From Abroad


Tax exemption for foreign income remitted into Malaysia.

Business Investment


Participants can be an investor or passively participate in their business in Malaysia, subject to existing Government policies, regulations and guidelines and permit is needed.

Education


Participants are allowed to bring their children aged bewlow 18 years old and not married as their dependants under this programme.
Children are free to pursue their education the various education institutions in Malaysia.

Domestic Helper


Each participant is allowed to apply for one domestic help/maid, subject to prevailing guidelines of the immigration Department of Malaysia.
